(A)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Scriptures. <\/strong>We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men, divinely inspired; that it is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, man\u2019s final authority and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried (John 12:47,48; II Tim 3:15-17). The sixty\u2011six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. (Rev 22:18, 19).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(B)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Godhead.<\/strong> We believe that there is only one true and living God, eternally existing as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; Rom. 1:20;<\/p>\n

II Cor. 13:14; 1 John 5:7).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(C)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Person and Work of Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men (Isa. 7:14, 9:6; Luke 1:35; John 1: 1, 2, 14; II\u00a0Cor. 5:19\u201121; Gal. 4:4, 5; Phil. 2:5\u20118).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross; that His precious, sinless, and divine blood was and is the only acceptable payment for man\u2019s sins before God (Matt. 26:28; Rom. 3:23\u201126; I Cor. 15:3,4, 20; Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:20;<\/p>\n

Heb. 9:12-14, 22-28).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate (Acts 1:9,10; Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25, 9:24; I John 2:1,2).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(D)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8\u201111; Rom. 8:9; I Cor. 12:12\u201114; Eph. 1:13, 14, 4:30).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that He is the Divine Teacher who guides believers to understand and appropriate the Scriptures; and that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Spirit (John 14:26, 16:13; Eph. 5:18; I John 2:20, 27).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(E)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Salvation.<\/strong> We believe that the salvation of man is wholly of grace, neither merited nor secured in part or in whole by any virtue or work of man, but received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins; and that apart from Him there is no salvation (John 1:12, 3:16, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Eph. 1:7, 2:5-10;<\/p>\n

I Peter 1:18, 19).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(F)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Human Sexuality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that God has commanded that no sexual activity be engaged in outside of the marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God\u2019s gift of sex (Gen. 2:24, 18:20-22, 19:1-13; Lev. 18:1\u201130; Rom 1: 18-32; I Cor. 5: 1-5, 6:9-20; I Thess. 4:1\u20118; Heb. 13:4).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman (Gen. 2:21-25; Rom. 7:2, 3; I Cor. 7: 1-11).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(G)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Church. <\/strong>We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. We believe that the mission of the church is the faithful witnessing of Christ to all mankind, and the edifying of the saints unto spiritual maturity. We hold that Scripture allows for churches of like faith to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith and for the furtherance of the Gospel; and in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or control\u00a0 (Matt. 16:18,19, 28:18-20; Acts 14:21-28, 20:17-35; Phil. 1:1; I Tim. 3:1\u201113; Titus 1:5\u20119).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(H)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Church Ordinances. <\/strong>We hold that Believer\u2019s Baptism and the Lord\u2019s Supper are the Scriptural ordinances of obedience for the Church in this age. They are not to be regarded however, as a means of salvation, or as a means of grace by which special merit is obtained<\/p>\n

(Matt. 28:18\u201120; Acts 2:41, 42; Eph. 2:8, 9).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(I)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ministry and Spiritual Gifts.<\/strong> We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowal of spiritual gifts to believers. God uniquely uses evangelists, pastors and teachers to instruct believers regarding their Christian walk and service; and that believers have gifts differing according to the grace that He has given them for the work of the ministry (Rom. 12:3\u20118; Eph.\u00a04:7,8,11\u201116).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

(J)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Eternal State. <\/strong>We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Dan. 12:2; Matt. 25:46; John 5:28, 29, 11:25, 26; Rev. 20:12\u201115).<\/p>\n
