Announcement

Bright Beginnings Preschool has open enrollment for the 3-4 year olds class, but limited spaces are available. Child must have turned 3 by August 1st and be potty trained. The class meets on Tuesday and Thursday either morning or afternoon 8:30-11:00am or 12:00 to 2:30pm. Classes start after Labor Day. Contact the Preschool @ 812-384-0400 ext. 28.

educating children in a safe environment.

Belief Statements

We believe in the importance of all children learning about Christ.

We believe that nurturing children in a safe and secure environment fosters confidence

and trust among parents, children, and ministry employees.

We believe children have the right to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

We believe modeling the love of Christ will inspire children to express His Love to others.

We believe in educating through a rigorous curriculum in an age-appropriate learning

environment.

Daycare Hours; 6:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday

Accept ages 6 weeks – 11 years

Children are organized in rooms by age:

6 weeks – 12 months, ratio 4 children to 1 adult

12 months – 24 months, 5 children to1 adult

24 months – 36 months, 6 children to 1 adult (if potty trained 7 children to 1 adult)

3 year olds, 10 children to 1 adult

4 year olds, 12 children to 1 adult

5-11 year olds, 15 children to 1 adult

All Staff are required to be at least 18 years of age have a high school diploma/GED and have the following:

15 hours of child care related training per year,

TB test, Drug test, Doctors physical,

CPR, first aid, and Universal Precautions training,

Criminal History and CPS background checks.

We follow all State Child Care Guidelines and are inspected by the state at least bi-annually.

We are certified by Paths to Quality in the areas of Safety, Infant and Toddler Care, Health and Food and Nutrition.
